I happened to be traveling from Oyo back to my place some weeks ago and was at the bus stop, waiting for the bus to get fully loaded so that I might be on my way. During my time there, waiting for ten (10) other passengers to take their seats, I had lots of encounters and experiences to recount. I could group these encounters by the persons that brought about them and into the following categories..
Of a truth, I wanted this piece to be a fictional story of some sort. Maybe something funny, something from the top of my head, but as much as I tried, it just didn’t work out. I got a thousand and one options in non-fiction, but when I think of writing it in fiction, it just doesn’t come off as something that merits my writing time. So I thought, “Should a story about Failure and Success be fictional?”. My answer? NO. A big one.
There’s a four letter word we all have, we all see everyday, we all perceive, we all feel, but we little less appreciate. Its not LOVE, the most popular one, but its one which is greater than love. One which, without it, even love is not possible. Its LIFE.. Yes, Life.
I have debated with myself a lot before I could finally arrive at that title above, and to be honest, I still think its not fitting of what I think and feel right now. Passion dies with time, but since the break of day when this post has come to my mind, I haven’t had rest till this moment when I’m putting it into writing, and as I do so, even words fail to convey the flame of what I feel inside.
